High school waitlists are open!
Between now and when waitlists close in August, you can use your MySchools account to:
Check your position on each program’s waitlist
Add your child to additional programs’ waitlists—this is optional
Accept or decline a waitlist offer, if you receive one
Remember, you can also use MySchools to view your high school offer and see the programs where your child is automatically waitlisted, if applicable.
Watch our Offers and Waitlists MySchools tutorial to learn more.
Please note that getting a waitlist offer is not a guarantee. Schools can only make waitlist offers if seats at their specific program(s) become available. Being on a waitlist does not mean you will get a waitlist offer.
If a school can make you a waitlist offer, they will call and email you directly, and you will have one week (7 calendar days) to choose between your current offer and the waitlist offer.
High school waitlists will close in August.
The nine Specialized High Schools, including LaGuardia High School, do NOT have waitlists.
